What a wound care nurse practitioner does at Healing Partners
The role is full-scope wound-care management within HP's clinical model. On a typical week you cover three to five partner facilities in your state on a fixed rotation.
Round on every wound.
Stage 1 pressure injuries through complex chronic and post-surgical wounds — you follow each one to closure.
Perform debridement.
Sharp, enzymatic, and selective autolytic debridement, plus advanced dressings, off-loading, compression, and antimicrobial regimens.
Document with precision.
You chart in HP's wound-care EHR with built-in imaging and measurement, tracking every wound to closure.
Lead the care team.
You coordinate with each facility's DON, treatment nurses, providers, and families — backed by an HP collaborating physician.
